About The Funeral Trustee Company Ltd

The Funeral Trustee Company Ltd manages funeral prepayments sold by the Independent Funeral Planning Services Ltd (IFPS) and its Appointed Representatives.

As at 5th April 2025 over 1,400 funeral plans were administered by the Funeral Trustee Company Ltd and invested in the Independent Funeral Planning Services Trust.

The FTC administers the plans held this trust : collecting instalment payments, recording address changes, paying refunds if plans are cancelled and most importantly paying for funerals.

The proceeds of funeral plan sales are invested on a long-term basis by our fund managers to ensure that we are able to fulfil the obligations of the Funeral Plan Guarantee.
